Brief Introduction of Some Scenic Spots:
Rhinoceros Lake is the biggest natural lake of Shuzheng Valley, with a length of 2.2 kilometers and a depth of 17 meters. It is located at an altitude of 2,400 meters, and the deepest place of the lake reaches over 40 meters.
Mirror Lake is as flat as a mirror, hence the name. It is like a mirror, casting beautiful reflections of the surroundings when the water is calm. The lake located at an altitude of 2,390 meters, with an area of 190,000 square meters and an average depth of 11 meters.
Arrow Bamboo Lake located at an altitude of 2,618 meters, with the depth of 6 meters and an area of 170,000 square meters. Around the lakeshore, there are numerous lush and verdant arrow bamboos. The mountains and bamboos reflect in the water. Even though in severe winter, the lake is still full of vitality and sparkling.
Five-Color Pond is one of the most spectacular bodies of water in Jiuzhaigou lakes. It has a richly colored underwater landscape with some of the brightest and clearest waters in the area. The upper part presents vivid blue; the lower part presents orange red; the left part presents azure and the right part presents olive green. In winter, the surroundings are all covered with ice and snow, but the colorful lake is not frozen. It is very magical.
